This will guide you through the process of scanning a head which can then be used for custom eyewear, helmets, etc. In this example we are using an iPhone and the front facing Apple TrueDepth camera.
1. Scanning
Ensure your face is in the bounding box. The face should be yellow or red, if there is no color on the model, adjust your distance, ideal distance is 35-50cm. You can also find further Structure scanning best practices here.
2. Scanning
Click the blue circle button to start your scan. Slowly rotate the camera around your face including the ears for best results. There is no need to include the neck or shoulders. When completed, your model should have no holes, and the scanned areas will be solid white. Click the done button to finish your scan or restart if you would like to start the process over.
