Toolkit3D Insole is a powerful desktop application for designing and customizing personalized insoles and orthotics. It transforms 2D design inputs (e.g., tag packs from shoe designers) and 3D foot scans into production-ready 3D models, optimized for additive manufacturing technologies like MJF and powder bed fusion with TPU materials.

Main Functionalities:
- Scan-to-Insole - Import a scan, choose side, load toe lines (default or CSV vectors), view interpolation, edit control points, generate base, then adjust toe allowance.
- Emboss & Deboss - Add textures or pads from grayscale images. Control depth, blur, feather, invert; use the on-canvas widget to scale/rotate/place. Stack effects for complex features.
- Variable Thickness & Deformations - Set ranges (e.g., 1.5–5 mm) and modulate via images. Forefoot/midfoot/hindfoot tools (Morton’s extension, toe post, met pad, arch positions, heel cutout/post, skive).
- Lattice Infill & Modulation - Choose implicit/TPMS or adaptive fills; modulate beam/wall thickness with pressure maps; tune period/scale and anti-alias. (Tip: add a rim with implicit patterns.)
- Rim, Base & Helpers - Reinforce edges, smooth the bottom, add perforations, glue rings, skins, and heel pieces. Ideal for covering and durability.
- Labeling & Export - Emboss logos or text (plate option for rough surfaces). Export Decimated STL (default), Full STL, or HVX. Compare vs. foot scan; undo/redo supported
Getting Started:
- Download and Install:
- Visit the Toolkit3D portal and download the installer (minimum Core Version 5.2.x).
- Run the installer and follow on-screen prompts. Launch the app.
- Login:
- Login with your email and password you setup during the sign-up process
- Basic UI Overview:
- Central Pane:3D preview of your insole model (rotate, zoom with mouse).
- Right Panel: Workflow drawers – expand to access tools.
- Top Bar: Navigation (Search, User Management, Logout).
- Bottom Bar: Export, Undo/Redo, and keyboard shortcuts (e.g., Ctrl+Z for undo).
- Importing scans:
