Orders can flow into the OMS from many different methods including API and mobile kiosks. You can also manually create an order from the OMS and track the E2E lifecycle of the order. This is only one example of the many different types of workflows that can be configured, all of which can be custom to your needs.
From the main dashboard page click on the orders button from the left hand navigation
To add a new order click the + button
Choose the Organization and Site this order will be placed from. Note there may only be one option for both Organization and/or Site depending on your account access
Depending on your site setup you will see all available products that you can order.
Clicking on a product will show price and product attributes.
This product has multiple required attributes to place an order highlighted with an asterisks.
Once you have added all the order details, click confirm.
Some orders may require a 3D scan file. To add a file click the + button in the scan attachments to upload your scan file.
You will then see your scan image in the 3D previewer. Clicking the edit button in the top left will allow you to pre-edit the image before accepting the order.
Once you have made all adjustments to your file, click on confirm.
Input customer/patient name
Once saved, your order will be placed and can be viewed by clicking on the Go To Order button. Order ID and Number are unique to every order.
When an order is placed it will stay in this state until it is accepted. Click the accept button to start the order process.
Click on the Confirm button to fully accept the order
Depending on the product workflow, the order will move to processing and the design engine steps will be displayed in the Design Status section as seen below highlighted in the orange box.
As each design engine step is completed it will turn green. Steps in orange are currently processing. Note that depending on the workflow, there may be manual steps that require interaction and design. Clicking on the step or Shapeshift3DOrderID link will launch the Design Engine and allow the user to interact with that step. Example seen on the next steps
Clicking the Shapeshift Order ID Link will take you to the S3D Portal where you will see you order and the detail of each step in the design workflow
You can navigate to the step that is waiting for manual design. Clicking the green arrow will launch the design engine toolkbox.
This is where you will proceed with your manual design
Once all design engine steps are completed the order will move to Processed and your designed output file will be present to download.
You can click the order workflow button on the top right do get an extended view of the entire workflow
